Course Requirements
-Give a Minimum of 5 Briefs/DeBriefs
-Show preparation, planning & control in Dive Management & Diving Activities
-Guide a Minimum of (4) Dives with varying sites and environmental conditions
Water Skills Requirements:
-Swim 800 meters with Mask, Fins, Snorkel (Non-Stop) without the use of arms in Less than 17 minutes
-Swim 400 meters on the surface (Non-Stop) any stroke, without the use of swimming Aids in less than 10 minutes (swim goggles permitted)
-SCUBA Surface Bail-out: (with full gear in hand & cylinder turned OFF, descent to 8 ft., turn cylinder on, replace mask, snorkel & scuba unit u/w. Ascend slowly with all equipment on)
-U/W Rescue & Surface Swim with simulated Unconcscious Diver
-Demonstrate all SCUBA Skills taught in OW Course
ADVANCED BUOYANCY SPECIALTY: $100

COURSE TOPICS:
*Why do we care about buoyancy? *When is a buoyancy check needed?

REQUIRED Certification: Open Water
